How long does shipping take?

We finally have our best-sellers back in stock. We were overwhelmed with demand and briefly had fulfillment delays, but we've built out our shipping facility and can now fulfill most orders within 1-2 days of order placement. After that, delivery typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your location. International orders may take a bit longer depending on the destination and customs processing.

How long until I get a tracking number?

You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking info once your order is packed and handed off to the carrier. For most in-stock titles, that happens within 1-2 days. For some lower-stock titles, you may experience a delay in getting your shipment email. If it's been more than a week and you haven't heard anything, shoot us an email and we'll get you an update right away.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide. We ship to most countries. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. Any customs or import duties that apply are the buyer's responsibility.

Can I order a book that's not on your site?

Probably. We have access to a large distributor network well beyond what's listed in the store. Send us a message through the contact page with the title and author. If we can source it, we will. Turnaround on special orders is usually 2-4 weeks.

Are your books new or used?

All books are brand new unless specifically noted otherwise on the product page. We don't deal in used books.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Send us a photo of the damage through our contact page and we'll make it right. We take packaging seriously, but sometimes carriers are rough. We'll either replace the book or issue a refund depending on what makes sense.

Do you offer returns?

We handle returns on a case-by-case basis. If something is wrong with your order, reach out and we'll work with you. We're a small operation and we take care of our customers. We don't do returns just because you changed your mind, but if there's a legitimate issue, we'll sort it out.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

Yes, for qualifying orders. If you're a retailer, book club, reading group, or organization looking to buy in bulk, contact us through the contact page with details on what titles you want and the quantities you're looking at. We'll put together a quote.

Why don't you carry [specific book]?

We're a curated store, not a warehouse. Every title in the catalog is there because we chose to carry it. That said, we're always expanding. If you think we're missing something good, tell us. We take customer recommendations seriously and we've added plenty of titles based on reader suggestions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify's payment system.

Do you have a physical store?

No, we're online only. This keeps overhead low and lets us offer better prices. It also means we can serve customers everywhere instead of just one city.
