A Patriot's Journal of Hell in the Heartland

Jon Croft — the pen name of Thomas Haluszczak — wrote this one during the Obama years. The setup is a United States already in a death grip: predatory capital, inflation, unemployment, a political class the book treats as rotten through. Collapse, Croft writes, is faster than growth. Breakdowns cascade. The Homeland is a house of cards, and the proposed cure is American patriots and militiamen.

Into that steps the Danite, an ex-Army Ranger whose adopted father taught him that a sniper can change the world. Key targets start falling. The federal government finally sees a pattern — not random noise, a planned strike on the grid, the politicians, and the financial elite. Society has a nervous breakdown. There aren't enough police. The Danite's message to the militia is blunt: now is the time to let the Kalashnikovs do the talking. A reset is coming.
