Francis Parker Yockey (1917-1960) was an American lawyer, political philosopher, and underground operative who produced one of the most ambitious and strange bodies of political thought to emerge from the post-1945 European right. He died in a San Francisco jail cell in 1960, an apparent suicide, after years of international travel under false identities. This bundle collects his four major works.

What's Included

Imperium: The Philosophy of History and Politics (1948) is Yockey's magnum opus, written in six months in a library in Brittas Bay, Ireland. Running to over 600 pages, it is an attempt to apply Oswald Spengler's morphological approach to history to the political situation of postwar Europe. Yockey argues that Western civilization is a living organism with its own life cycle, that America and the Soviet Union are both enemies of Europe, and that the future of the West depends on European unification under an authoritarian imperium. The book was self-published under the pseudonym Ulick Varange and circulated underground for decades.

The Enemy of Europe is Yockey's later polemic, written after he had become disillusioned with the possibility of a third-position European movement. It is shorter, angrier, and more directly political than Imperium, focusing on what Yockey saw as the twin occupations of Europe by American liberalism and Soviet communism.

Lost Writings of Francis Parker Yockey collects letters, fragments, and documents recovered from FBI files, private archives, and the papers of Yockey's associates. These materials fill in the biographical gaps and provide context for the major works.

World in Flames gathers Yockey's shorter essays, pamphlets, and articles from his years of exile in Europe and the Middle East. The pieces range from geopolitical analysis to cultural criticism and reveal the range of Yockey's interests and contacts.
